My name is Trevor Powell. I am an American of Jewish, German, English, Welsh, and Swedish background. I grew up and spent most of my life thus far in Taiwan, and the design of this publishing platform was inspired by the east coast of the island. The platform itself is also partly an ongoing experiment in web glocalization. I graduated from Wheaton College near Chicago with majors in philosophy and history. I am currently employed as a frontend engineer with Yahoo! News in Santa Monica, California.
